Last week our CEO, Lin Sun Fa, and Director of Business Development, Junaid Faruq represented Emobi at the CharIN Testival & Conference North America Detroit! A highlight was attending the SAE Industry Technologies Consortia EVPKI Industry Roundtable, where we discussed the world's first interoperable PKI solution for EV charging and its importance for enabling drivers to charge securely anywhere.

The public day showcased major OEMs including BMW Group, Stellantis, Rivian, Lucid Motors, Ford Motor Company, Nissan Motor Corporation, testing unreleased vehicles with various CPOs such as ChargePoint, EVgo, Autel Energy, Lynkwell, i-charging, ABB, Rivian Adventure Network, and more. Plug & Charge testing was a major focus, with automakers prioritizing ISO-15118 compatibility for 2025. This aligns perfectly with our JustPlug solution – a cloud-based ISO 15118 technology that breaks down the firmware dependency barriers plaguing the industry. JustPlug complements traditional Plug & Charge, by removing the need of system upgrades on 80% of existing infrastructure, by leveraging AI Memory Map technology and ISO 15118 certificate infrastructure.

We received enthusiastic feedback from automakers and CPOs about JustPlug's ability to support legacy chargers that traditional Plug & Charge can't accommodate. By making charging automatic regardless of firmware, we're making EV charging simpler, more secure, and more accessible than traditional fueling.
